Reese Blutstein
Every home has a point of view. At Home With steps inside the spaces of creative people, tracing how daily life, personal style, and well-worn details come together over time.
In Reese Blutstein’s Atlanta home, ease comes from intention. The space feels thoughtful and lived in, shaped by care, patience, and a genuine affection for the things that fill it. A style creator with a refined point of view, Reese shares the home with her family, creating an environment that feels comfortable, calm, and safe.
Each piece has been chosen with purpose. Objects resonate because they are loved, made well, and meant to last.
Over time, the home has come together through daily rituals and personal taste, reflecting a belief that waiting for the right pieces is always worth it.
Your personal style has a distinct ease. How do you carry that into your home?
Just like getting dressed, I’m very thoughtful with what I bring into our home. This makes it so our home just feels right. Being surrounded by things that resonate brings a deep sense of satisfaction and makes home feel exactly the way it should be.
How would you describe the feeling of your home?
Our home is comfortable, thoughtful, and it feels safe.
Is there a routine that helps you stay grounded?
Definitely making a coffee in the morning with my son. He enjoys helping me turn on the machine and froth the milk, and then I get to enjoy a delicious coffee, so it’s a win-win for both of us.
What’s your favorite part of your home?
Probably the window in our kitchen that faces our backyard. It has a view of sunrise and sunset. I made these sweet little napkin curtains to cover the window, and I get so much joy from looking at them every day.
What’s inspiring you lately?
I’m honestly very inspired by traditional and classic design. Now that I’m getting older, I’m finding my style in a more refined way, so I often look for design that feels timeless and not trendy. I am inspired by pieces, whether it’s clothing or homeware, that I feel as though I will love for a long time. That is what I want to be surrounded by these days.
When you’re choosing pieces for your home, what do you look for?
Things I love. Which sounds very simple, but it’s true. We have lived in our house for two years, and we finally have a majority of our furniture, but taking the time to find the things you love makes all the difference. I will never ever buy a temporary piece. Which, for some might sound insane, but I would rather there be a space with no furniture for a year than fill it with pieces that I’ll soon get rid of. Waiting for the right pieces will always be worth it.
